Counselling Services

Counselling doesn’t have to feel clinical or confusing. I offer focused, no-nonsense support for when anxiety, thoughts, identity or lack of connection start to drag you down.
Anxiety
Do you feel like anxious thoughts hold you back?
Anxiety is something we all experience from time to time. We’re human after all. But sometimes, our thoughts can run away with us.
I’m here to support you in regaining a sense of control and taking back your freedom.
As there’s no one-size fits all way of overcoming anxiety, I will work on tailoring support that is right for you. You may need to know what is driving these anxious thoughts. Or, you may prefer to work on solutions and be very focused on the present and the physical sensations.
If you feel you anxiety is negatively impacting you, please reach out and we can explore. Read more about how I work with anxiety here
Panic Attacks
Experiencing a panic attack can be overwhelming and frightening.
Therapy is a powerful tool for managing and reducing the frequency and intensity of panic attacks.
We’ll work together to identify the specific triggers and patterns that lead to your panic attacks. Understanding what precipitates these episodes is the first step in gaining control over them. Sometimes, panic attacks are linked to specific situations, while other times they may seem to come out of nowhere.
Seeking help is a sign of strength, and taking control of your mental health is a journey worth embarking on. If you’re ready to start this journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Counselling for Men
Men’s mental health is often overlooked. Many men are taught to stay strong, keep emotions hidden, or “just get on with it.” While this attitude might seem protective, it can lead to stress, anger, anxiety, or depression being bottled up. Counselling offers a safe, confidential space to talk openly and find practical ways forward.
Why Men Struggle To Seek Support
Stigma and expectations: Talking about emotions is still wrongly seen as weakness.
Belief in coping alone: Many men feel they should manage without help.
Uncertainty about therapy: Worries like “what if I can’t open up?” can hold men back.
These barriers can be heavy, but counselling is designed to meet you where you are—whether you want clear strategies, space to reflect, or a mix of both.
What can Men’s Counselling help with?
Stress, anxiety and depression
Anger and irritability
Relationship and family difficulties
Grief and loss
Confidence, self-esteem and identity
Life changes such as career shifts or fatherhood
Counselling isn’t about forcing you to share in ways that feel unnatural. My approach is direct, practical, and respectful. We’ll look at what’s happening in your life, what you want to change, and how to get there.
